In the world of Christian rock, few bands have made such an impact like Fireflight. Their newest release “Unbreakable” shows us just how true that statement is. Lyrically the album reaches out to the lonely, discouraged, and heartbroken, giving hope to those without hope and showing those that are troubled that they are not alone. Musically, the rock band hits several different levels going from an acoustic offering to a harder metal explosion.

The vocals of Dawn Richardson once again stand out on songs like the title track “Unbreakable”, which NBC picked up as the new theme song for the series “Bionic Woman”. Dawn takes a different vocal approach to songs like “Wrapped in Your Arms” and “Forever” showing the softer side of the rocker girl. The guitars penetrate the proverbial walls that most other rocker bands put up, showing that this album is definitely one that needs to be in everyone’s collection. Five Stars.
